Using this site, emailing us, or requesting an appointment does not create a physician–patient relationship. That relationship begins only when we have accepted you as a patient and you have been evaluated.

In an emergency
Do not use this website, and do not email us, in an emergency. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. We do not monitor email continuously and cannot respond to urgent problems.
Appointment requests
Submitting a request does not confirm an appointment. A visit is scheduled only when we confirm it with you directly. We may decline to accept a person as a patient where doing so is appropriate, including when the care sought is outside our scope.
Fees, estimates, and insurance
LUMENA is cash and credit only. We do not accept insurance, and we do not bill insurance on your behalf. Payments made to us are generally not reimbursable by an insurer, and you should not assume otherwise.
Any prices shown on this site are for general planning purposes only, are subject to change, and are not an offer or a quote. Your actual cost depends on what is clinically appropriate for you. You will receive a written Good Faith Estimate before services are provided, and that estimate governs.
Medications
We prescribe only FDA-approved medications, and only where clinically appropriate after evaluation. All prescribing is subject to physician discretion and review of contraindications.
Where a manufacturer has supplied us with samples of an approved medication, we may provide them to a patient at no charge. Samples are never sold. Sample availability is determined entirely by the manufacturer and cannot be guaranteed or promised in advance. Nothing on this site is an offer of any specific medication to any person.
No guarantee of results
We make no promise about any clinical outcome, including amount of weight lost. Any figures cited on this site come from published research in defined study populations and are not predictions about you.

The content, design, text, graphics, diagrams, and patient handouts on or distributed through this site are the property of Sachita Diagnostics & Therapeutics Inc. and are protected by copyright. You may read and print material for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, republish, sell, or use it commercially, or remove any copyright notice, without our written permission.

We link to medical literature, regulatory agencies, and manufacturers so you can verify what we say. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Accuracy
We work to keep this site factual and to cite sources for clinical and pricing claims. Medicine and drug pricing change quickly, and information here may become out of date. Where a page states a verification date, that is when the information was checked.
